In the story, Victor Frankenstein's obsessive pursuit of knowledge and his desire to uncover the mysteries of life ultimately bring about the “hideous creation” in the novel from 1818. This unchecked ambition eventually leads to tragic consequences for both the scientist and his creation. The latest Tornado Popper stitches together events from Frankenstein and the Creature’s lives: the creation and creator, the pursuit of love turned rage and the Creature retreating from the humanity that rejected him.
